Joseph Douglas Homes Featured at WCBA Tour of Homes
Menomonee Falls, WI June 18, 2018 – Joseph Douglas Homes will be one of several featured home builders in the 2018 Washington County Builders Association (WCBA) Tour of Homes. The Tour will be held for two weekends in July – the 14th and 15th and the 21st and 22nd from 1 pm to 5 pm, as well as July 18th from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Stop in and visit Joseph Douglas Homes’ newest design, The Wakefield. This model home is a modest, but beautiful, 1,955 square feet in total, with 1390sq.ft on the first floor with 565sq. ft. upstairs. Although this home can be designed for and built on a smaller lot, it still has all of the amenities you want and expect from Joseph Douglas Homes.
The covered porch entry opens into a two-story foyer and lovely staircase. The main floor hosts a great room and comfortable dining area and kitchen. Large windows on either side of the fireplace and along the back wall allows natural sunlight to stream in. Behind the kitchen is a cozy master suite featuring a spacious walk-in closet and large bathroom with a two-person shower and double vanity. A laundry room, mud room, and a half bath complete the first floor.
On the second floor, there are two additional bedrooms with walk-in closets, a full bath, an enormous storage closet, and a bonus room over the garage.
“With all of the great features of The Wakefield, one of the best is that the lower level opens to property which Menomonee Falls has slated for a future park.”, said Deron Butler, founder and principal architect. He added, “We can finish the basement for you, or it’s a perfect project for the do-it-yourselfer.”
Founded in 1998, Joseph Douglas Homes maintains an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and has been voted as one of the best home builders in Southeastern Wisconsin. They set the standard for simplifying the sometimes-complicated process of home building by providing custom floor plans, one-stop shopping for selections and finishes, and complete base pricing.
