This early 1990’s two-story, traditional home was successfully transformed into a cosmopolitan dwelling from one end to the other. The kitchen and bath were gutted to the studs and modernized. The front door, fireplace, and stair systems were replaced with ultramodern finishing. The colonial golden oak trim, doors, and floors were swapped with contemporary profiles and painted. The powder room, master bedroom, dining room, loft ,and secondary bedrooms were revitalized with stylish light fixtures, paint schemes, and flooring. In the end, every room on the first two floors, except the laundry room, was renovated. The project was recognized as a 2016 CotY Region Three winner in the “Residential Interior Over $150,000” category.
